Ramesh is an experienced tax and business professional with more than three decades of experience. He is currently an Independent Director on the board of Nexdigm and ensures that the organization’s growth is aligned to humanitarian and ethical principles. During his career, Ramesh has helped numerous companies with their expansion plans, providing advice on cross-border investments, entity structuring, mergers and acquisitions, and tax litigation and representation.
Ramesh has been associated with the Company for over two decades. Currently, he oversees the overall Professional Services at Nexdigm, provides strategic guidance and oversight to several functional areas, and mentors the senior leadership team, imbibing a global mindset and imparting service excellence. He has helped conceptualize the organization’s long-term vision, strategic objectives, and expansion plan. He also reviews the company’s annual plans and reports to map the difference between targets and achievements.
Having worked with large accounting and consulting firms such as A. F. Fergusson & Co. and EY, Ramesh is well-versed with the tax and accounting laws across sectors. His ability to understand operational aspects of a business from a bird’s eye perspective enables him to create solutions that align with company requirements and objectives.
Ramesh has represented numerous clients to the tax authorities in India. He is also a Director at a leading Real Estate and Infrastructure company. His diverse and extensive experience allows him to form rational and unbiased opinions. Ramesh’s ability to think clearly combined with his detail-oriented approach enables him to consider all alternatives before making a business decision.
Ramesh is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary. He is the winner of the Sir Shapoorji Billimoria prize for the best paper in Advanced Accountancy and Financial Management and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Legislative Law (LLB) from Mumbai University (India).
On a personal front, Ramesh enjoys watching Cricket and spending time with his family.
