Kalwant heads the Accounts and Finance function of the company and its subsidiaries. He is responsible for instituting Internal Financial Controls, MIS, restructuring, budgeting, ERP implementation, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in all functional areas, . thereby enhancing the overall efficiency of the organization. He is well-versed in various statutory compliances, including regulatory and tax audits, tax filings, etc.
Kalwant has over three decades of experience in managing a wide gamut of finance, accounts, taxation, and company secretarial functions in India, UK, and Japan with various organizations in the fields of Outsourcing, Software Development, Exports, Real Estate Constructions and Investment. He also has extensive knowledge and is capable of working on various software platforms.
Kalwant has been the Head of Finance and Company Secretary for several listed companies. Before joining Nexdigm, his last role was with Ascendant Business Solution K.K. Tokyo Japan, where he worked for six years as their Financial Controller. Prior to that, Kalwant worked with a Chartered Accountancy firm in London for a period of five years.
Kalwant is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Mumbai University (India).
