1. OVERALLSUMMARY
This role iswithin Financial Control is responsible for leading all aspects of accounting,financial and management reporting function including corporate management,statutory and tax compliance of the Company and entities within the Group.
2. AREAS OFRESPONSIBILITY
3.1 Oversea the accounting and preparation of financial andmanagement reports in accordance with local GAAP and group accounting standards(IFRS).
3.2 Ensure accurate and timely submission of monthly reportsand financial statements to holding company for group reporting andconsolidation
3.3 Provide financial forecast, annual budgets analysis, andrisk assessment to group and management for decision making.
3.4 Manage the accounting function and system for accountspayables, accounts receivables, cash management and general ledger.
3.5 Evaluate and enhance financial systems, processes andERP tools to improve accounting procedures and efficiency.
3.6 Ensure full compliance with statutory reporting,accounting standards, audit and tax regulatory requirements.
3.7 Ensure robust internal controls to safeguard companyassets and risk management.
3.8 Lead and mentor the accounting team for performancegrowth and ensure adherence to internal control and reporting timelines.
3.9 Manage cross-functional collaboration with holdingcompany to ensure alignment of financial objectives with business operations
3.10 Liaise withauditors, tax agent, company law matter team and regulatory bodies forcompliance.
3.11 Lead andperform any ad-hoc assignments with internal and external stakeholders
3. QUALIFICATION/ EXPERIENCE
Chartered Accountant (A) or Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting
Minimum 8 years of experience in financial management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
Strong understanding of accounting standards (IFRS)
Hands-on experience in financial and management reporting and analytics
Strong preference for prior experience in ERP process
4. Knowledge and Skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong preference for experience in improving a finance function and controls
Experience in managing or supervising an accounting team
Good knowledge of direct and indirect tax compliance matters
