Job Responsibilities:

1.     Knowledge of Contract Act, DataProtection Laws, Company Law, Employment Laws, Property laws, FEMA,Intellectual Property Laws, Arbitration Act and Stamp Act

2.     Drafting and Review of varioustypes of contracts such as employment agreements, employment handbook, otheremployment related documentation, consultancy agreements, service agreements,non-disclosure agreements, Software licensing agreement, Referral agreements,memorandum of understanding, manufacturing agreement, distribution agreement,transaction documentation, lease agreements, letters, concept notes, memos,undertakings etc.

3.     Understanding the commercial& legal implications of contract clauses, risk and obligation assessment ofcontracts and, identification of risk mitigation strategies.

4.     Negotiating the clauses incontracts to protect the interest of the Organization and/or clients.

5.     Preparing / updating standardtemplates for various contracts and playbook

6.     Drafting / Review of internalpolicies

7.     Monitoring updates in laws andregulations applicable to the Organization

8.     Compliance – managing, andassessing various compliances (FEMA, Secretarial, Governance, etc.)

9.     Support in implementation ofpolicy changes

10.Working with the management on governance matters

11.Coordination with external lawyers in respect of legal matters

12.Process development and legal research

 

 

Job Requirements:

1.     Bachelor of Law (LL.B.) degree froma reputed law college (mandatory)

2.     CS – qualification or practicalexperience

3.     10-12 years experience relevantto the role

4.     Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills

5.     Proficient in MS Office

6.     Working knowledge of laws,regulations that apply to a service organization

7.     Detail-oriented and stronganalytical and problem-solving skills
