Minimum 2-5 years L3 level experience of handling fort iGATE Firewall,CISCO Routers, L2 & L3 cisco switches
Actively involved in Incident management and doing RCA.
Minimum CCNA certification is mandatory.
Hands-on on configuring different routing protocols, BGP configuration,and stringent access policies on CISCO routers, Palo Alto Firewall
Responsibilities sometimes require working evenings and weekends,sometimes with little advanced notice.
No regular travel is required. But sometimes need to travel for projectsor reporting
Operational Management
Establishes network specifications by conferring with users; analyzingworkflow, access, information, and security requirements; designing routeradministration, including interface configuration and routing protocols.
Establishes network by evaluating network performance issues includingavailability, utilization, throughput, good put, and latency; planning andexecuting the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of equipment;defining network policies and procedures; establishing connections andfirewalls.
Maintains network performance by performing network monitoring andanalysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting network problems; escalatingproblems to vendor.
Prepares users by designing and conducting training programs; providingreferences and support.
Upgrades network by conferring with vendors; developing, testing,evaluating, and installing enhancements.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities;reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participatingin professional organizations.
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishingnew and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to jobaccomplishments.
