 JOBDESCRIPTION:

Yourjob responsibilities will include,


  • Financial Services Operations:
    Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of financial services operations including Portfolio Management Services (PMS), Mutual Funds (MF), Alternative Investment Funds (AIF), Wealth Management, Offshore Funds, and other related financial products.
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting:
    Analyze, compare, and interpret financial data quickly to make sound judgments. Prepare investor-level output reports that include income and tax deductions such as TDS on income.
  • Income and Tax Knowledge:
    Understand various income types derived from the trial balance, including short/long-term capital gains on mutual funds, interest on debentures, short/long-term gains on equity, and unrealized gains. Demonstrate knowledge of the tax implications on these income streams, including applicable TDS requirements.
  • Excel and Data Analysis:
    Exhibit advanced Excel skills in data analysis, including the ability to manage large datasets, perform complex calculations, and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders.
  • Accounting and MIS Reporting:
    Have a sound understanding of the accounting of financial transactions, and be proficient in reviewing and preparing MIS reports of client statements and portfolios.
  • Leadership and Team Management:
    Lead and guide a team of at least 4-5 junior team members, providing mentorship and support to ensure high-quality output. Demonstrate strong leadership, interpersonal, and people management skills.
  • Communication and Business Acumen:
    Possess excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate financial data and findings. Understand the business context and leverage systems and computer skills effectively.
  • Attention to Detail and Independence:
    Exhibit accuracy in work, with the ability to handle responsibilities with minimal supervision. Be meticulous in verifying data, especially in preparing tax and investor reports.

DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE:

  • Strong knowledge of PMS, MF, AIF, Wealth Management, Offshore Funds, and other financial service operations.
  • Proficiency in preparing investor-level outputs, including tax calculations such as TDS on various income types.
  • In-depth understanding of income types such as short/long-term capital gains, interest on debentures, and unrealized gains, along with the associated tax treatment.
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze complex data and prepare detailed financial reports.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial transactions, and MIS reporting.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to manage and mentor a team of 4-5 junior team members.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy
