Configureand monitor Palo Alto firewalls, CISCO gateway switches, Ruckus Wireless APs andcontrollers, VLANs, IDS/IPS, antivirus, DNS, and DHCP and maximize networkefficiency and security.
Sustainthe necessary data throughput rate by monitoring networking activity andmaintaining existing equipment.
Respondto network connectivity issues and resolve any wired or wireless communication-related issues.
Developand maintain Network maintenance windows to periodically update all Networkdevices with up-to-date security and OS patches.
Developand update the maintenance calendar where downtime is required and get consensusfrom all stakeholders.
Ensureto follow the change management process whenever changes are being implemented toCis.
Periodiclog monitoring and log preservations are done as per compliance requirements.
Adhereto all security requirements as per ISO27001 and GDPR compliance requirements.
Collaboratewith third-party support, wherever applicable, and service vendors to ensurethat the network stays operational
Designand implement new network solutions and/or improve the efficiency of currentnetworks
Assessingright right-sized network equipment for procurement and managing subcontractorsinvolved with network installation
Reportingof network performance status to key stakeholders
Desiredskillsets:
Degree/diplomain Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Priorminimum 4 years of experience in a network administrator role
Hands-on experience with networking, routing, and switching
Youpossess experience with Load Balancers, Firewalls (preferably Palo Alto), VPN,LAN, WAN, troubleshooting, and problem resolution
Understandingof Layer 2 and 3 network infrastructure
Youpossess good analytical & problem-solving skills
Goodcommunication skills to liaise effectively with end users
CertifiedCCNP, PCNSA & PCNSE would be an added advantage
